Ritual Dance Coven

Ritual Dance Coven (RDC) can be a smaller, more intimate gathering of energy movers. At RDC, you will experience the calling in of the elements, guided meditation, free-flow dance magick and a closing circle. The way that Ritual Dance Coven differs from Community Dance Coven, is that it includes a simple choreographed movement for one or two songs of the playlist.

The movements are choreographed into typically 2-4 segments that are repeated over and over, similar to a chant, but instead of our voice, in ritual dance we are using our bodies as the expression.

Ritual Dance is sacred dance in unison. We honor and set our intention of joining together as one; one soul, one spirit and one body. Our soul being our collective energy/emotion; our spirit being our collective consciousness/awareness, and our body being our physical body in expressive movement (dance). We join together in unison, united as a whole, as one, dancing synchronized choreographed movements.

When we join together in unison with these intentions and purpose, we flow in the magick, reclaiming our alchemy and our power. Joining together in ritual dance, in unison is powerful.

At Dance Coven, we celebrate freedom of choice, so if you are choreographed challenged, you may choose to engage in the collective movement or do your own thing.
